My candidacy for election as the next RIBA President
- Advocating Architecture
I’m running for the Presidency of the Royal Institute of British Architects because I believe there is an appetite for change in schools, in the profession and in the RIBA.
Architects must address global climate change, health, inequality and redefine the profession’s vital role in a post-pandemic world.
I’d like to see the RIBA become an institute of ideas that better supports architects and the future of architecture.
Over the coming days I’ll be sharing my ideas on how I think we can make change for the better.

4yHello there, thanks so much for sharing – how refreshing. Would be so good to have a House of Architecture where ideas become knowledge, and these are captured and shared with members, public and government. Also, I like Mike Stiff's idea of creating a social club at the RIBA ! Be nice to have a place where we want to meet each other, also for non-architects, so it is accessible to all, as Simon Allford suggests.
