🔴 MY #FORECASTING #PRINCIPLES: (No. 2 of 6 in this series)

🔶️ If you have been fortunate enough to have read my latest book "THINK FUTURE," you will recall that I present 60 Forecasting Principles, all with color graphics, as the main content of that book.

🔴 EXAMPLE FORECASTING PRINCIPLE #11

🔶️ To give you a flavor of it, I am going to Post 6 of the 60 Forecasting Principles here, on consecutive days.

🔶️ The 2nd example (#11 in the series) is an over-riding principle of all future #Social #Trends. It simply but profoundly says:

"Society literally Regenerates itself with each New Generation."

🔴 EXPLANATION

🔶️ No, this is not a play on words. Each new generation grows to maturity in a somewhat different society to that of their parents. They develop different values, and they grow up in different economic times and in a more technologically advanced era.

🔶️ Generation Z grew up with a cellphone in their hands at junior school. They know nothing different than a digital and mobile world. That influences how they think and behave.

🔶️ And it changes how they will raise their children, Generation Alpha, and how they will innovate, how they will behave economically, and how they will vote politically.

🔶️ And so social trends and other changes repeat, albeit in somewhat different ways, and to either a smaller or larger degree than with the previous generations.

🔶️ Remember that all change comes down to #human #behavior. People either resist or create change, depending on the circumstances and possibilities. But new generations tend to create change. In due course, most organizations will be led by Gen Z.

🔶️ Please think about it and the implications. It is another over-riding Principle of #life and #business.
