I’m James Kandasamy, the best-selling author of Passive Investing in Commercial Real Estate: Insider Secrets to Achieving Financial Independence Today, I want to share a journey that began several years back and culminated in a book that is transforming lives.

When I started writing this book, my goal was clear: to demystify the world of commercial real estate investing and open doors for those who thought these opportunities were beyond their reach.

How Did It All Started?

I started nowhere close to real estate investment, with a career in engineering. I have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the Science University of Malaysia and an MBA from the University of South Adelaide (Australia).

I wasn’t always a millionaire. My journey involved years of learning, pooling together funds with other investors, finding the right deals, and maximizing returns. Now, my multifamily investment company owns roughly 4,000 units worth over $500 million. I host a podcast show called "Achieve Wealth Podcast" which has over 60k+ downloads. I also have a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, which is widely considered a gold standard in the commercial real estate space.
