My Personal Experience and History in Academic Success and High and Low Academic Performance.

Throughout my academic life, I have always been either the best or one of the best in my class except for the disastrous start of my graduate university studies at the University of Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe. I am telling you not to brag but to demonstrate that when I talk about high academic performance, I am speaking from both personal experience and also from my self-studies in human performance and how the human brain works in terms of performance. I am also saying this to give you assurance that no matter you current general base level, or natural academic performance, you can significantly improve your general learning performance and results by strategy and by how you manage and use your brain. I also want you to know why my elite academic performance system works.

I had my ever academic results;

  1. In my very first year in primary school where I was the best student in my stream of three classes.,
  2. In my fourth year in primary school when I was the best student in my stream of 4 classes with a total of 120 students.
  3. In my fourth year in secondary school where I was the best among about 90 students in my stream at my school in Cambridge Ordinary Level Examinations . As a I result I got a Rio Tinto bursary that paid for my A'Level Studies at Goromonzi High School in Zimbabwe. By then, Goromonzi High School was one of the country's top schools where getting a place to study there was very tough.
  4. I was the best student in Biology and Geography and one of the best students overall in my Cambridge Advanced Level at Goromonzi High School. I produced straight As in Biology and Geography and got 13 out of 15 Points. I later also realised that I had the best national result in Biology and this earned me a Government Merit Award that paid for my University Fees.
  5. I was one of the best students in my stream at Lancaster University where I did my Master of Science University Studies where I produced a first class. My Thesis in which I developed an Excel-based quantitative, dynamic model for predicting the transport, fate, and distribution of hydrophobic organic chemicals in an activated sludge sewage treatment plant was highly praised by course director to the point that another student did his thesis on the thesis.

Now you may say what is the big deal because many other people produce similar or even better results?

First, most if not almost all, geniuses and high achievers in general, and academic high achievers in particular, produce excellent results and brilliant performances unconsciously. They are brilliant at what they do, but they have no idea exactly how they do it. They have what is often called unconscious competence. This means that these people can not change or improve their performance or results by conscious choice because they have no formula to do so. In other words, they have no idea how they produce the kind of performance and results that they produce.

Second, most of the high academic performers have never experienced serious failure in their academic lives; so they have no idea what it means to fail and the different causes of academic failure and academic success. I am a high academic achiever who experienced academic failure and that gave me insights into the dynamics of academic performance that no one who has never failed can access from personal experience. This means I am better able to help other students achieve better academic results and prevent or minimize academic failure.

Third point. I am a certified neurolinguistic practitioner, the science of human achievement part from having studied human biology to university level. I have used NLP and my personal academic performance experiences to develop a solution that I know can help others to improve their learning and academic performance and results regardless of the subject they are studying and regardless of level of education right up to Ph.D. level. The solution works because it uses neuroscience, neuroliguistic programming knowledge and skills as well as what I did personally to produce the kind of results that I produced.

So when I talk about peak performance, I am talking from personal experience and also from science, not from just reading books on the subject. So if you or someone wants to transform his or her academic, improve mental performance, improve goal achievement or learning performance, the solution is available.
