N I G E R I A

What can be said about this country and whether as bad as the country is right now can it recover and improve? What do Nigerians think about their country? There are those that are actually causing the problems in Nigeria like the politicians, police, and armed robbers; we even have the downtrodden and really suffering without connections and these may be school dropouts or even university graduates; still in Nigeria we have some that have made it with clean hands whether with secondary school education or are dropouts, maybe read Law or Medicine and made it or studied anything in the university from Mathematics-Education, Economics even Engineering and went for an M B A especially in the University of Lagos; but better still after First Degree/NYSC register for, studied and passed the Accounting Professional to become A C C A, etc. And these make all the clean money and don't care where Nigeria is heading. Of course, there are those that got into the Oil Companies or the banks - worked to retirement and will be comfortable till death with their children too.

We have the farmers too many not educated but are really had working but will flourish more under enhancing government policies. Of course, there are those that Oko Bunmi formerly of Shell describes as Sit-don-Look. What other categories of Nigerians do we have? The run-away abroad: just one example of this group will do – Titi who read Economics 2-1, in a Nigerian University not among the first 5 + 1 universities. Titi never worked for any institution whether private or Government- Local Government, State or Federal, and was doing well. Yet she was tired with Nigeria and somehow found her way to America where she did not present any qualifications, registered for School Cert (High School they call it in America), and did a second exam to be an Assistant to Nurses in Hospitals or Nursing homes. She is now a qualified nurse who has brought her husband to America together with her only daughter while her 2 sons manage her business in Nigeria. Last year she invited her father and mother to America for the celebration of her mother's birthday in her big house which she just bought to which I was privileged to attend.

And there is nothing stopping Titi from buying a second house next year and maybe a third and even a fourth etc. But as great and as successful as Titi is, she does not care about Nigeria anymore. She thinks the wickedness and ills in Nigeria are too much and that Nigeria cannot and will not be redeemed! If she can she will get all her family to America. I do not condemn or praise Titi but I know and I am sure Titi will return to Nigeria should things improve. Is this how Nigeria will remain? There is hope for Nigeria's complete and full recovery in the nearest even in 2023 when there will be no place for the old politicians and their parties anymore as We the People of NIGERIA do a simple thing; yes no APC no PDP getting votes to win elections as you vote in at all levels from President through Governors to Chairmen including the Senate and House candidates for N I G E R I A P A R TY [ NP ] - who will be the best in putting all Nigerians on an equal level with no more corruption, decay, insecurity, injustice, and abundant productivity in every sector. But you must vote for NP to which you are automatically a member if you were born in NIGERIA
