Network Field Day 26 is Coming

Network Field Day 26 (#NFD26) is coming in one month, all-virtual!

Dates: September 14-16, 2021. The schedule of presentations is still TBD.

And FWIW, I plan to be a (virtual) delegate.

Sponsors

The following companies are expected to be sponsors presenting on topics of their choice:

I’ve seen all of the above (well, except TBD) present before. They usually do a great job of presenting, and I expect they’ll have some interesting new features to tell us about.

I also expect they’ll have plenty of DEMOS, which are a good part of what keeps Field Day event interesting. I know I like getting a feel for what a product looks like from the operational user side of things.

If you go to the #NFD26 web page above, clicking on a sponsor’s icon brings you to a page of prior {NFD, TFD} videos and blogs content about the vendor and their prior announcements or presentations.

Delegates

The list of delegates is posted at the URL above. Currently the list shows:

  • A.J. Murray (@NoBlinkyBlinky)
  • Faisal Khan (@MFaisalK)
  • Girard Kavelines (@GKavelines)
  • Jason Gintert (@BitsInFlight)
  • And myself, Pete Welcher (@pjwelcher)

I expect there will be more, the above are those who committed quickly.

Conclusions

Stay tuned! I may put out updates or another blog just prior to the event, if it seems warranted.

After the event, I expect I’ll try to blog about each sponsor’s presentations, although it may take some time to generate all those words.

Stay tuned! (Yeah, obsolete phrase, isn’t it. What’s a “tuning knob”?)

Comments

Comments are welcome, both in agreement or constructive disagreement about the above. I enjoy hearing from readers and carrying on deeper discussion via comments. Thanks in advance!
