Never Say Never

Never Say Never

In 2010, when I got my first certification as a coach, I was so fascinated by this field that I immediately decided that I would never practice coaching.

𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐲 "𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫" 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 "𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫".

I was so caught up in the mirage that the trainer position gives you such a power over groups! The steam born out of the atmosphere you create as a magician, out of the way people respond to the activities you propose, the state in which they leave the training room. All of this kept me in Training for over 13 years. I'm still delivering training. But now I also know why I said "No" to coaching.

The silence. 🤫 The way we manage the silence of the one in front of us says a lot about our level of maturity.

There is silence in training only if the trainer is also silent. And the trainer can choose to talk as much as they want. And keep in mind that I am a trainer who delivers experiences! And I still feel now, looking back, that I was running away from the silence.

With people who recognize that there is a difference between their dreams and reality. Entrepreneurs, managers, leaders, employees, people. Like them, I recognized that I felt a dissonance between my dream of reconciling the world and increasing the "amount" of happiness in the world. Like them, I felt the need to talk to someone:

💠 to stop me to see the road I am on;

💠 to guide me to identify another path;

💠 to be by my side until the change made becomes a habit.
