How has your career progressed at Hackett?

I’ve been with The Hackett Group for a little more than two years now, joining after twenty years of implementation and consulting roles. As a manager in the finance transformation group, I’ve managed several projects for one of our clients, including scaling testing globally for multiple applications. I am now expanding my responsibilities to design and implement improved systems, including a new solution that will modernize our clients’ cash application processes.

What's the most important thing you've learned here?  OR  What perspective have you gained that has helped you professionally or personally?

One of The Hackett Group’s greatest strengths is the vast knowledge and wisdom shared by those who work here. Whether it’s industry insights or something as simple as time-saving techniques for day-to-day tasks, this company empowers me to analyze and meet clients' needs and propose improvements to  provide optimal results for our clients.

Where do you live?  What do you like about it?

I live in Atlanta, a melting pot with rich history and diversity. Understanding and experiencing various cultures is important for me and Atlanta is a great place to be, plus the easy access to the international airport that allows me to travel around the world.

What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?

I used to go white water rafting at least once a year when I was younger. However, when I became a parent, we exchanged that sport with travel domestically and internationally. I remember a three-day rafting trip in Oregon, where we experienced freezing water temperatures and saw black bears on our way to the drop off location. I was with a group of strangers and guided by professional white-water rafters, so I felt safe and was able to enjoy the experience. Now with my daughter getting older, I might pick it up again with my family!

What's your core philosophy when it comes to work?

Always challenge yourself and have fun at the same time!
