NEW COOKWARE TRADE IN THE POST 5G ERA, THE END OF THE E-COMMERCE PLATFORM

Article originated from our website www.totalcooker.com

In the era of traditional Internet shopping, most of the transactions were completed through a number of large e-commerce platforms, which are carriers for hosting, displaying and trading various branded products. To a certain extent, the concept and influence of the e-commerce platform is higher than the influence of the product brand. Consumers generally first become familiar with the business content of the e-commerce platform, platform influence, platform experience, platform access system, platform-independent artificial intelligence evaluation rating system, and supporting logistics service and product claims service system gradually produce sticky dependence. Then, learn more products and brands through the E-commerce platform's tool-based search and guidance service. In general, even a good brand may also need an influential e-commerce platform for promotion, repackaging and marketing.

So, can this intermediate platform operation be removed through the promotion of digital technology, allowing consumers to directly contact the manufacturer (C2M mode) or brand (C2B mode)? Or is it possible for manufacturers and brands to sell and promote information coverage that directly touches and triggers demand signals to the end consumer? This may lead to a new revolutionary trade model.

In the traditional era of Internet trade, the general way for consumers to understand the details of a branded product is through e-commerce platforms, corporate websites, and corporate self-media platforms etc. The way to enter these platforms is to click the website links and scans the QR code. In the post-5G era, can we directly reach the brand's website (or called “digital home of brand”) through more advanced digital technology?

For example, each brand product has a unique brand icon (or called brand logo and brand symbol). Can you directly scan this brand symbol directly through digital technology to link to the brand website? Instead of scanning black and white grotesque QR codes? Through the use of the image scanning function of the Google engine for so many years, this technology is not impossible.

After the first step resolved access technology, the next step is the construction, design and application of the company's own website. European, North American and Japan companies in this area have been doing more successful than Chinese companies. The independent websites of most well-known foreign brands are designed very exquisite, including the embodiment of corporate culture content and the products display. And in most cases, consumers can place orders directly through the branded product's website, thus reducing the value-added service content of the third-party e-commerce platform (the platform extract fee from unit price). This model is very beneficial for the respective domestic market; for consumers who buy products across borders, a new freight and tariff issue arises.

For example, how do European consumers want to buy products from Chinese companies' websites, and how to reduce shipping and tariffs? For the freight problem, this should be a new trend in the development of logistics companies or express delivery companies in the future. How to deploy the logistics system of FMCG globally? How can cross-border shopping consumers minimize transportation costs? How to establish a logistics warehouse system in all regions of the world to ensure that products can be quickly transferred to consumers? This is a new logistics direction and trend. As for the tariff issue, only more and more countries, organizations and sectors are expected to join the ranks of free trade, so that more people can profit from it.

Back to the original design concept stage, how will the consumers in the post-5G era learn so many brand icons to scan for product information? The traditional Internet model is displayed through search engines and e-commerce platforms. In the post-5G era, there may be more cloud service systems. All manufacturers and brands will upload their brand symbols to a “cloud service place” or “cloud service station”, and consumers will use terminal devices (terminal cloud service APP or other modules) to input the required product, price, quality, service and other requirements to system, through a series of fast “cloud computing” services, automatically download the matching brand symbols conveniently, then click it to login in the website to find the products and services you need, and finally trading.
