Just prior to Christmas 2018 Eddie Irvine Sports made the long anticipated leap into a whole new world of virtual reality. Having established our business over the past 15 years and consistently pushing the boundaries to offer the newest and freshest activities to our customers we have taken our most recent plunge into the Virtual world of motor racing.

Having watched the many accelerated changes into Virtual Reality software in the past 24 months, we have been waiting for the timing to be absolutely right to launch a new and improved 'Eddie Irvine Race Experience' and we are pretty happy with the results.

Sporting 12 brand new Virtual Reality Racing Simulators this is an experience that needs a headset to be believed. Each racing simulator consists of an oculus rift headset that allows the driver to be fully immersed into the cockpit of a Formula 1 car of their choice on a world famous racing circuit of their choice.

This experience really comes to life with the introduction of a full motion racing seat that guarantees that every driver will feel the full power of Formula 1 acceleration, every bump in the road and full braking under high pressure.

The 360 degree viewpoints ensure that every driver is able to turn their head completely to watch the attentions of a chasing pack, the road rushing beneath the chassis of the Formula 1 car or the up close and personal look at your competitors on the grid or at high speed on track.

This is a phenomenal experience that will leave any driver mentally exhausted as they hit the chequered flag. Like all of racing options at Eddie Irvine Sports we believe in healthy competition. Lining up against 11 of your colleagues, relatives or best friends this competition becomes electric as we are essentially blind folded from who has just made a pass, bumped you into the Armco barrier or fully T-boned you into the hairpin.

This is modern racing at its wonderful, technological best. In essence this is Fantasy racing with all the thrills and spills of Formula 1 without any of the barriers to entry. Don't take our word for it though, get on the grid and find out for yourself.
