New products, actual measurements, terminals... MWC2023 Shanghai Exhibition, what surprises does Quectel bring to the #IoT industry?

On June 28th, the MWC Shanghai World Mobile Communications Conference kicked off. Focusing on the theme of "time waits for no one", this year's #exhibition includes three major themes: #5G revolution, digital everything and "beyond reality +", which fully demonstrates the #5G, big data, AI and other next-generation information technologies are important achievements in empowering social and economic development.

#Quectel, as an overall solution provider for the Internet of Things, also displayed a series of new products such as #5G, RedCap, and satellite to visitors in this exhibition in a novel way of "full-stack products, combination of dynamic and static, and partition display". Terminals and solutions. In order to further demonstrate the #high-quality performance of the products, #Quectel and its partners have conducted multiple on-site measurements of speed, radio frequency parameters, and connectivity to accelerate the further commercialization of new #technologies.

Verification of RedCap's achievements boosts the #5G industry into a "light era"

RedCap has attracted industry attention since its birth. It aims to meet the market's demand for #5G terminal differentiation #capabilities, accurately cut into the pain points of the 5G #industry, and has huge market development potential and broad industry application prospects. Combining its own business development and application experience, #Quectel launched a new lightweight 5G RedCap module product #Rx255C series in February this year. Pain points such as consumption and size.

At this exhibition, #Quectel exhibited four #Rx255C products including #M.2, LGA, Mini #PCIe and other packages and covering different areas at one time. These four products will help terminal #manufacturers to choose freely according to the special needs of their own products and scenarios, which is an important embodiment of #Quectel's one-stop product and service supply concept from the perspective of customers.

Not only the scope of product selection has been expanded, #Quectel #Rx255C series modules have also become the first batch of #Qualcomm Snapdragon X35 platform RedCap modules to be deployed in the real network environment of operators at an industry-leading speed. This test is mainly for #LGA-packaged #RG255C-CN and #M.2-packaged #RM255C-GL RedCap modules, both of which have been successfully completed, including RedCap network access, RACH with initial RedCap BWP, IPv4/IPv6 PDU session establishment, IMS Relevant tests including registration, RRC measurement of relaxation function, etc., the test results are in line with expectations.

In addition, in order to allow on-site visitors and industry insiders to more intuitively understand #Quectel's important breakthroughs in RedCap technology. Also at the exhibition site that day, #Quectel, together with partners such as Keysight, Anritsu, and China Mobile, conducted dynamic performance demonstrations at multiple booths.

Among them, the Keysight #E7515R UXM 5G test instrument is used to verify the end-to-end excellent data connection capability of the Quectel #5G RedCap module Rx255C; the RF parameters and connectivity tests are carried out through the Anritsu wireless communication test platform #MT8000A, which fully verifies that the #Rx255C meets the The corresponding specification requirements of RedCap defined by #3GPP R17; before that, China Mobile used R&S instruments at the GTI conference to dynamically demonstrate the various performances of #Rx255C, and the performance was good. This time, a static display was made at China Mobile's MWC booth.

The successful completion of the above tests, on the one hand, is an intuitive performance of the excellent performance of #Quectel’s 5G RedCap series module #Rx255C, and it is also an important measure for Quectel to promote the commercialization of 5G and #RedCap industries.

"Satellite Communications Family" Unveiled, Helping Space-Ground Communications "All Era"

As a typical representative of current breakthrough innovations, satellite communication technology has attracted much attention. It can extend the coverage of cellular networks such as #5G beyond ground coverage, and use satellite and air platforms to provide seamless connections in areas where traditional networks are difficult to penetrate. At the MWC exhibition this time, #Quectel also brought a variety of satellite communication modules to the scene.

Quectel’s #CC950U-LS satellite communication module equipped with Unisoc’s first satellite communication SoC #chip V8821 complies with the 3GPP NTN R17 standard and has low latency, low power consumption, and two-way data transmission. It can be used for emergency rescue, vehicle-mounted , water conservancy and other vertical application industries of the Internet of Things to provide more efficient wireless solutions, this module has participated in the actual satellite network connection test of Tiantong Satellite, and the effect is good. On the same day, client terminals such as NTN #tracker, satellite messenger, and DTU with built-in #modules were on display.
