A new remote work partner, and last chance for the LinkedIn challenge!
Whew, it's been a week. Too much going on - the trouble is, they're all such good and exciting things!
Let's start with a brand-new partnership for Remote Work Europe: we are now officially ambassadors for Native Teams.
This solution will simplify life for so many of our members, in Spain and beyond. I feel like it's the app that a great many freelancers in particular have been seeking, in case you want to do any of the following:
🌟 Invoice like a business, without operating one (but they can also help you with that too!)
🌟 Manage your expenses and income professionally as a freelancer (so you GET PAID!)
🌟 Have a proper employment contract and payslip despite being self-employed (yes, you might even be able to rent an apartment in Valencia or Barcelona while being autónomo!)
🌟 Offer a streamlined and affordable solution to any overseas businesses to hire you for an employed position
🌟 Collaborate with and hire other team members to work with you
I will have a podcast episode next week with one of the Native Teams founders, and, we will do a webinar soon to answer all your questions. But for now you can sign up for free with Native Teams, and experience their amazing user experience and tools for yourself 🤩
Meanwhile this week's podcast brings us some more LinkedIn and personal branding, with my wonderful podcast editor Stephanie Fuccio .
Maybe she could help you too?
Have a listen to us setting the universe to rights - well, podcasting, LinkedIn, and personal branding for small businesses, as there was plenty to be getting on with right there.
Why do I keep going on about LinkedIn?
Because it matters!
If you don't believe me... Google yourself. Full name, "inside quotes".
Naturally your mileage may vary depending on the weirdness and uniqueness of your name, but I have been writing and publishing under this unique handle for years, including for some top-tier publications.
However, I still CANNOT beat my own LinkedIn profile when it comes to the top of the search results page:
So instead I own it, optimise the hell out of it, and make it work for me!
That's what the Level Up Your LinkedIn Challenge is all about, and we start on Monday
If you're ready to commit the time to show up and post and comment every day for 4 weeks - by the end of it you will have a stronger profile, growing authority, a powerful online presence, AND a plan for the future (because LinkedIn is for life, not just for 28 days )
There is still time to join us, and for the value you get, the price is as low as we can make it. It's essential that all participants feel committed, because it's a cohort of motivated folks working together to support each other, and everyone has to put the effort in to make it happen. But, I do recognise that for some the price might be an impossible barrier, and I know that so many people have had a devastating year so far, with redundancy and more.

AND, this week we celebrated a wonderful milestone in the Spain community, reaching 30,000 members
This would not have happened without the community sharing, engaging, and being part of it - for which I am so very grateful.
So I want to give away one seat totally free
If you really want to participate in the challenge, but
1. genuinely can't afford it; and
2, you're definitely committed for the duration,
then reply and tell me, via DM.
I will make the fairest judgement I can, and discreetly allocate one 'golden ticket' seat to the challenge.
(If you apply for this, keep an eye on your inbox and be ready to jump in fast. And if you can afford to make the investment directly, then please do that instead - you will of course get a fully deductible invoice for it.)
Because if you're looking for your new employed job, you need to shine when the hirer or recruiter checks you out.
And if you're a freelancer offering your service, you need to make your value absolutely clear, in a place that every prospective client can find you.
(Yes, you need a website. But... check those Google results again. You actually need LinkedIn more.)
Maybe you were inspired by our recent webinar with the Virtual Assistant goddess Hannah Dixon? I know I was! So if you missed it, catch the replay here.
Hannah is running a cohort challenge starting Monday too.
Why? Because working together as a team, just works! However independent we are, together we are stronger and more motivated.
So, join the LinkedIn challenge, join Hannah's 5-day VA sprint, and join Native Teams - and we will all be greater than the sum of our parts.
What a time to be alive 🥰
Have an amazing weekend,
