New Year, New Thing

Reference texts: Isaiah 43:18-19; Philippians 3:13-14

As we approach the end of one year and anticipate the beginning of a new one, let us look back at how far we’ve come and look forward to what lies ahead.  Like many of us, today may not look like we thought it would on January 1, 2023.  Perhaps 2023 was a great year for you and 2024 is looking even better.  Despite the challenges and victories, we have so many reasons to be grateful.

I encourage you today to look to God to do new things in you, for you, and through you.  You don’t have to wait until the clock strikes 12 a.m. on January 1st.  You can start looking right now.

I also encourage you to look forward to the great things that lie ahead.  Believe and expect by faith that great things are in your future.  Do your work to manifest them.

May this new year be the best one yet!  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.

The Lord bless you and keep you.  The Lord make His face shine upon you.  The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.   - Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV
