The New Years Resolution No One Made (But it's not too late.)
Lose weight, go back to the gym, ease up on the drinking — these are all noble pursuits that at least a few of us said we’d undertake on New Year’s Eve. But then, for many of us, we woke up to a terrorist attack in New Orleans followed by the City of Los Angeles literally burning to the ground. Now it’s Monday, and all we can say is, welcome back to work.
In business, I’m sure the resolutions were awfully similar to our innately human ones — cut the fat, tighten up operations, stop the busy work. But we would wager that no one even considered making a resolution to “Think Different,” even when it comes to cutting costs and getting traction faster.
And why would you? Apple has even abandoned that resolution, with Mark Zuckerberg pointing out during a recent interview with Joe Rogan that Apple hasn’t “invented anything great in a while.”
Ouch. (But true.)
In fact, if you talk to executive recruiters, the last time innovation affected their business, it was the cellphone. Apple, or really Steve Jobs, transformed that entire industry, but “now they’re just kind of sitting on it 20 years later.”
So, what is innovation twenty years later? Is it saying A.I. and ChatGPT as often as possible but not really knowing how to actually use it? Is it sustaining innovation, while not really innovating anything at all? Or is it hiding behind a once great brand name instead of making the game-changing decisions that made it great to begin with?
That’s likely why no one made a different resolution this year, like “I want to understand the subconscious behaviors of my customer” or “I want to find every single prospect out there who thinks, behaves, and will love my product as much as my best customers.”
No one thinks that way because they don’t believe it’s possible.
We at Stealth Dog Labs think differently, however.
That’s because we have the only technology that can tell you exactly who your customer is, how they think, and why they chose you. And we are the only option out there to find hundreds if not thousands of look-a-like prospects who fit that exact psychological profile. And then we can cold email them for you, with a message that’s sure to land with their unique buyer mindset.
That means we can help you cut your backend costs by 90%, improve candidate quality (when hiring — that’s on our secret menu 😉), and improve sales.
That’s something everyone can get behind, right? Doesn’t everybody love innovation? Acceleration? Success?
In the book Beyond Performance 2.0, it was estimated by the top minds at McKinsey that only 30% of businesses manage transformation in part or in full. And based on our robust data rooted in search engine technology, only 6% of business are actually winning.
As a result, change seems so risky, to the point that everyone is pushing all their chips on the tools of transformation, such as A.I., GPT, and even quantum computing, instead of leaning into the mindset of transformation, which is the most important part. (Because if you don’t know where you’re going, a quantum computer will simply get you nowhere faster.)
The trouble is, what direction is the best direction, when innovation seems so foreign to us?
We highly doubt that anyone is waking up in the morning thinking, “I’m super happy that everything’s so expensive and that my operational costs are through the roof.” No one is drinking their coffee excited to hire more and more people, each less qualified than the last. And hardly anyone leaves their office at the end of the day thinking the status quo is good, while it’s simultaneously burning down.
At Stealth Dog, we can show you the way forward — based on deep insights you can’t get anywhere else. And in the process of saving time, money, and energy, you’ll also gain something no one seems to have: clarity of purpose.
Why you? Why them? Why now?
These are the questions we answer for those bold enough to ask.
