Donna, Cerys’ Mum
We recently introduced you to Cerys and her amazing business; Cerys’ Creative Corner. We sat down with Donna, Cerys’ Mum, to discuss how together, we all share the same vision of what we want for Cerys, and that is for her to be as independent as possible and to achieve whatever she wants to achieve. Donna says: “The fact that I can trust these people to go out with Cerys, and I know that they will look after her like I would, that trust is so important to me.”
This is why we provide the care we do. 💜 #ANewcrossStory

Latest from our Voices of Care Blog Series
This week, we have two new Voices of Care blogs! They feature Sir Julian Hartley , Chief Executive of NHS Providers , and Professor Kamila Hawthorne , Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners . In his blog, Sir Julian shares valuable lessons from his time as CEO at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and as Chief Executive at NHS Providers. In her blog, Professor Kamila Hawthorne calls out the failure to grow full-time GP numbers and the imperative to increase funding for primary care as policy places a premium on its role in meeting demand.
