AI-powered care plan enhances AF management and reduces stroke risk
End-user happiness: SYMPHONY
Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia, affecting approximately 60 million people worldwide. SYMPHONY (ITEA Project Number 21026) and Amsterdam UMC introduce a specialised care plan tailored for AF patients, integrating AF-focused medical data collection and storage, a chatbot, and targeted knowledge resources. This improves medication adherence and overall patient engagement, reducing symptoms, and lowering stroke risk.
Enhancing patient participation in virtual clinical studies
Within the ITEA project Secur-e-Health Canadian partners Kelvin Zero, IDENTOS Inc., and Perceiv AI are enhancing patient participation in clinical studies. By using digital security solutions, secure data transfer from remote locations is enabled, making it easier for patients to participate in trials from home. A key feature of this trial is its strong emphasis on patient engagement, empowering participants to take an active role in managing their health.
Project Impact story
PIANiSM
Predictive maintenance offers benefits across many fields, but most PdM solutions are domain or problem-specific. PIANiSM merged predictive and prescriptive maintenance techniques to achieve an end-to-end automated manufacturing process.
