New Altmetric dashboard built for publishers
We're thrilled to announce the launch of Altmetric's Journal Benchmark dashboard, designed to help publishers share success with stakeholders, benchmark journal performance against competitors, and track the real-world impact of publications using a blend of Altmetric and Dimensions data. To celebrate the launch, we kicked off a 'How to' Altmetric for Publishers webinar series. The first webinar introduced the new dashboard, while upcoming sessions will showcase how the Altmetric Explorer can be utilized by your editorial, sales, and marketing teams.
PID stop
What’s a PID? Many of us in the publishing world think we know what a PID is, but wouldn’t like to have to answer a test on it. Luckily, we grabbed expert Alice Meadows to help us understand the more about the possibilities of persistent identifiers. In her video interview ahead of the first ever #PIDfest in Prague, the Co-founder of the MoreBrains Cooperative talks about PIDs in the context of research infrastructure, why metadata matters, and building research solutions for communities.

Out and about
We were delighted to see friends and customers at the Society of Scholarly Publishers conference last month. It was a busy week in Boston, with great talks and lots of activity in and around the Digital Science booth. We were thrilled to launch Altmetric’s new Journal Benchmark Dashboard at the conference, and it was standing room only at our Writefull industry breakout session. Here’s the publisher team representing our flagship solutions for academic publishers.
