Liebherr Academy: Machine Training Center (MTC)
Liebherr experts offer training courses on the operation and maintenance of Liebherr machines at their Machine Training Center (MTC) in Kempten. Supported by our trainers, participants practice on real workpieces, learning how to use the machines to their full potential in hands-on courses. The MTC is equipped with the latest technology, including gear cutting and grinding machines as well as measuring equipment. Liebherr also offers modular training in mechanics and electrics as well as live online training. Upon completion of the training, participants receive a certificate, and they can continue to contact the service team for any consultation needs.

Liebherr skiving day roundup
On March 16 in Kempten, we held our Liebherr skiving day, and it was a complete success! We were truly inspired by our customers – and all those fascinated by skiving – who showed up for the event. It was a great opportunity for our experts and partners to talk about their passions. They gave several exciting talks on various topics relating to modern gear skiving. Among other things, we presented our latest LK 500 gear skiving machine and talked about the productivity increases made possible by digitalization and our high-quality gear skiving tools.
Our customers were also given the unique opportunity to experience our gear skiving machines up close and in action during a factory tour. We were delighted to receive numerous positive comments from the participants. This sort of feedback is really motivating. It encourages us to continuously come up with innovative and high-quality products to serve our customers. We would therefore like to thank everyone who was there, who supported us and who helped make this day such a success.

Quality assurance with the Liebherr WGT
The Chinese Haoneng Group uses four measuring instruments from the WGT series from Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH to manufacture components for synchronizing vehicle transmissions. The WGT series is characterized by precision, user-friendliness and durability, ensuring the quality of those components which are responsible for smooth and seamless shifting in vehicles. The highly precise measuring instruments are deployed at the Chengdu, Chongqing and Liuzhou sites in the Central Chinese province of Sichuan, enabling these sites to supply well-known European automobile manufacturers and OEMs.
