SALLY STRUTHERS will have the lead of Mrs Peachum in CLUE at Gateway Playhouse March 17 thru April 16, 2023.
I am most anxious to re-contact Sally Struthers as I did June 1985 when I wrote her during her engagement in THE ODD COUPLE when she co-starred w/ RITA MORENO:
"Dear Miss Struthers,
What a pleasure to reach you during your current project - All best wishes are addressed you to hope your Florence does well. I wrote also to ask if you would enter your career in my theater collection.
I am a theater major who began following Broadway since 1974. I tried to get you during WALLY'S CAFE but it closed. So here you are at the Broadhurst and that leaves time to write.
Your "Gloria" is still a fine character - you brought her such drive and guts - Good luck with the Children's project.
Would you please send a PLAYBILL from THE ODD COUPLE and sign it for me? An envelope is enclosed for convenience.
