Employers can receive a subsidy covering up to 80 per cent of the employee’s salary (up to $10,000, for a maximum period of eight months). Toronto Ad Campaign

We’re spreading the word on Indigenous involvement in responsible resource development and industry leadership and we couldn’t be happier on how our recent downtown Toronto ads turned out! The campaign has now ended, but if you have taken a photo, please share it and tag us on social media!

Events & Engagements

John Desjarlais attended the AFPA (Alberta Forest Products Association) Conference in Banff on Oct 11, moderating the Economic Reconciliation Panel with Chana Martineau, Matthew Foss, and Sheila Harrison.

IRN was excited to sponsor the 2024 APC Climate Leadership Conference, which took place in Charlottetown, PEI, from October 21-23. This event brought together up to 150 leaders and community members from First Nations, industry, and government to engage in meaningful conversations and share best practices for tackling environmental challenges. We were proud to support this important work in Atlantic Canada and enjoyed connecting with others at the event.

The Hub Podcast

ED John Desjarlais discusses the federal government’s recently proposed emissions cap on the oil and gas sector and its potential impact on Indigenous participation in resource development on the latest Hub Podcast Episode. He explains the risks this cap poses to Indigenous opportunities and self-determination.

Too bad that the turdeau liberals are making a mockery of Reconciliation and Indigenous entrepreneurship by funneling millions to their own pockets and to the bank accounts of their rich elite supporters. This money should have gone to legitimate Indigenous companies. That would benefit all canadians. https://apple.news/AyeqHA_2mQ_eMQjgn5nDWNQ
