November CareerEco Connection Newsletter

November CareerEco Connection Newsletter

Neurodiversity Celebration Month in October serves as a dedicated time to acknowledge, understand, and celebrate the diverse ways individuals think, learn, and perceive the world. Embracing neurodiversity means valuing the unique strengths of neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other cognitive variations. This month shines a spotlight on the importance of inclusivity, aiming to reduce stigma and promote environments where all cognitive profiles are respected and empowered.

In celebration of this month, we’re hosting our Neurodiversity Virtual Career Fair on November 13th. Connect with talented neurodiverse candidates who bring unique perspectives and strengths to the workplace. This event offers employers a powerful way to build an inclusive workforce, access innovative thinkers, and explore practical strategies for fostering a neurodiverse-friendly environment.

Check Out Our Platform Updates and Enhancements!

LIVE Presentation Notifications!

We’re excited to introduce a new feature: “Live Presentation” Indicators! Now, whenever an organization is actively screen sharing, using audio, or video, a “Live Presentation” label will appear on their organization event room card, letting attendees know they're broadcasting in real-time. The label will disappear instantly once the presentation ends, making it easy to showcase to candidates which organizations are live and ready to engage.

Engaging With Key Prospects!

We now have a better way to help you track key candidate prospects! Moving forward, whenever a prospect selected by anyone in your organization enters one of your rooms, you'll receive an instant alert. Plus, these prospects will be highlighted with a “Star” around their initials in the participant list, making it easy to spot and engage with them at a glance. Utilize this enhanced platform feature to maximize your opportunity to connect with top talent!

C4C Now Offers French Translations

A French translation option is now available at the bottom of the Careers4Canada event site, making navigation easier for French-speaking users. Additionally, emails to candidates and the Candidate Tutorial now include French translations. Candidates will receive clear instructions on how to switch their language preference, ensuring a smooth, bilingual experience from start to finish! If you are a Canadian employer interested in hosting an event or participating in events on our C4C site, connect with sales@careereco.com.

The virtual career fair is only for people in the United States, not Canada, right?
