It has been yet another busy month at Specialist Glass Products. From international partnerships to exciting new product launches, we've got it all covered in this newsletter.

Collaborating with Saint-Gobain Glass

An exciting opportunity emerged with Saint-Gobain Glass and one of their new products.

We teamed up with its sub-division, Glasssolutions, to test the processing capabilities and safety credentials of their new MIRALITE® EASYSAFE glass, which was launched back in June.

This further strengthens our relationship with Saint-Gobain Glass and follows on from our succeeding glass curving trials for the COOL-LITE SKN 183 II solar-control glass last year.

New Product: Fire-Rated Double-Glazed Units

We are thrilled to announce that we are now certified to manufacture double-glazed fire-rated units with outstanding performance.

Our fantastic team has achieved accreditation for Level 1 Attestation (AoC Level 1), authorising us to create double-glazed units with exceptional fire-resistant performance.

We now offer a range of fire-rated units and can incorporate Low E & Solar control glasses to suit your requirements.

Celebrating 17 years at SGP

Last month, Sarah Evans our Sales administrator, celebrated a remarkable 17 years at the company!

Sarah joined the sales department back in 2007 and has played a crucial role in the business's growth and ongoing success.

Her hard work and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable member of the team, and we are so grateful for her contributions over the years.

Product Update: VISIOSUN

We have once again partnered with Saint-Gobain Glass by stocking and processing one of their new products, VISIOSUN.

The patterned glass, suitable for a range of applications, offers a stylish, subtly textured design and excellent light refraction to maintain brightness in a room.

At Specialist Glass Products, we can cut VISIOSUN reeded glass to any size or design. VISIOSUN glass units are available in 3 thicknesses: 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm.

Our CNC processing machine allows us to cut intricate patterns for bespoke applications or architectural designs. VISIOSUN can also be curved to meet your exact needs.

Glass and Glazing Federation Visit

Earlier this month, we welcomed members of the Glass and Glazing Federation to our factory.

We started the day with an exciting tour of our state-of-the-art glass manufacturing facility before we showcased some of our award-winning products and services.
