Now The Future

I was visiting with a good friend of mine the other day and, as you do when you get older, we were reflecting on our career and business over the years.  He was a corporate guy, leading 2 public companies that were very successful.  For me, I decided to start and build a company that provided products and services to the Financial Industry.  The business was started with Hardware (microfilm and microfiche readers and printers) over 40 years ago and as the industry changed, so did MTS.  We migrated to Check and Document Scanners, and entered the software side of the business, with a scanning business that converted paper documents to electronic and also became a leading reseller of document management software.

Over the past few years, we made a decision to go back to our roots and focus our time and energy on the sales and support of check and document scanner technology, building on our check scanning business across the financial marketplace.  With that, we divested our paper scanning business to a local company that primarily focused on document shredding and sold our 3rd party software business (Hyland, Docuware, etc.) to a group of our employees who has continued to run and grow a successful business.

Now the Future…  We renamed our business MTS Scanners and my son Joe, has been heading up the company for the past few years, creating an environment that focuses our attention on the sales, delivery, and service of Check and Document Scanners. We continue to work closely with our customers and business partners delivering the best solution to meet your business needs.
