NSwap™ success story showcased in Bilbao
The NSwap™ innovation story was showcased at Bilbao Port during the 5th Bilbao PortLab Anniversary event held on the 27th of November. The audience consisted of key actors from the Spanish port innovation ecosystem, including representatives of key Port Authorities. Bilbao PortLab serves as the innovation hub of the Port of Bilbao, fostering collaboration between public and private entities to develop and implement pioneering solutions that enhance port operations and competitiveness.
Dr. Enrique Martín, Product Manager at Navozyme, and Ana Iglesias, Product Manager at TRADEBE, shared how NSwap™ is being used in the Port of Bilbao to reduce the complexity of the MARPOL processes.
By digitalising and securing waste declaration data, NSwap™ simplifies processes, enabling seamless data sharing, reducing manual interventions, and enhancing operational transparency. NSwap™ also generates blockchain enabled electronic Waste Delivery Receipts.

The award recognises, supports, celebrates and inspires MAAP alumni towards innovation. The award comes with a BEE (Blockchain Enabled E-certificate), a cash prize of 10k Pesos and the sponsorship of a training course from the Nautical Institute.
Navozyme™ launches Digital IDs for MAAP Alumni
Navozyme™ launched Digital IDs for the alumni of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) during the recent Alumni Homecoming event. These Digital IDs provide MAAP alumni with a secure verifiable identification anywhere in the world. MAAP is also able to broadcast real-time notifications directly to its alumni's mobiles, ensuring alumni stay connected and informed.
The MAAP Alumni Digital IDs were generated using NCap™, Navozyme’s seafarers' credentials solution. NCap™ empowers credential issuers—such as flag states, maritime training institutions, seafarers' associations, and medical centres—to issue Blockchain Enabled E-Credentials (BEEs) directly to seafarers’ mobile phones. These credentials, including STCW and non-STCW training certificates, PEME medical certificates, and digital identity cards, are instantly verifiable via blockchain technology.
MAAP is a pioneering user of NCap™ from the very beginning and has played a key role in contributing to the over 15,600 BEEs issued globally.
Navozyme™ wins Tenerife's Port Digitalisation Award 2024

Tenerife and of Barcelona.
