Presidential Politics and Stock Market Myths: Debunking the 2024 Election Hype
Each party wants to convince you a vote for them is a vote for stock market gains while a vote for their opponent threatens to send us into another Great Depression.
Fortunately, it is not that simple (nor dramatic), and if history is any guide, whether we end up with a Republican or Democrat in office is unlikely to predict which way stocks and the economy will go. Click here for the full blog.
Why National Estate Planning Month Matters for Your Future
National Estate Planning Month is a reminder to review your estate plan or put an estate plan in place if you don’t have one. If you don’t have a plan in place for the distribution of your assets upon your death, the state intestacy laws will dictate the distribution – which may not be in alignment with your wishes. If you have a plan in place, it is good to review it periodically especially if you have had a change in your situation such as a change in health, death of a spouse, birth of a child or change in financial situation to name a few. Hello, my name is Michele and I am currently a Project Associate at Marshall. I began my career as a court stenographer, but after a few years I changed career paths and started working at Marshall processing investments and assisting the client care specialists prepare net worth reports. I took a few years off to stay at home when my children were younger, but was fortunate to be welcomed back on a part-time basis once they were in school. I have loved my time here and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to work with such a wonderful, caring, smart group of people.
When I am not at Marshall, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, going for walks, reading, and traveling. After many years of watching our children play sports - basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse, cross country, and track, our most recent pastime has been attending our niece's and nephew's weddings. We are so grateful to share in their special days and we have gotten to travel to Mexico, Italy, and Santa Barbara for these special occasions. We have two coming up next year.
Above is myself (right) and Client Care Specialist, Dina Mele at Board & Brush.
