This month has been nothing short of exhilarating, filled with moments that brought Privy closer together and pushed our boundaries. From impactful collaboration to thought-provoking panels that sparked innovative ideas to engaging networking events, we have experienced a whirlwind of excitement and inspiration. Whether celebrating achievements or exploring new collaborations, October was a month packed with valuable experiences. Let’s dive into the highlights that made this month memorable for Privy! 

 

Privy’s collaboration with PinjamDuit to Enhance Digital Financial Security in Financial Expo (FinExpo) 2024 (October 3 to 6) 

Privy participated in Financial Expo 2024 held by Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) to commemorate Financial Inclusion Month at Balikpapan. With the theme “Akses keuangan Inklusif, Wujudkan Masyarakat Produktif”, this event aims to increase literacy, inclusion, and new economic growth in East Kalimantan as well as ensuring that all levels of people have wider and more equitable access to safe financial products and services. 

Privy is here to keep encouraging and increasing public and industry awareness on the importance of using certified Electronic Signatures to secure all financial transactions as regulated by ITE Law no. 1 of 2024. Privy and PinjamDuit, as fintech service providers, are committed to creating a safe digital ecosystem for all PinjamDuit customers. This commitment is realized with Privy’s certified Electronic Signatures in every digital transaction at the platform. 

 

President and Minister of Trade Appreciate Privy for Facilitating Digital Signing of MoU at Trade Expo Indonesia 2024 (October 9 to 12) 

This year, Privy participated again in the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia as its Digital Signature Partner. Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) becomes a meeting place for 1460 exhibitors consisting of producers and suppliers of various products and services from all over Indonesia with overseas buyers. The event was opened directly by the 7th President of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo, and also attended by Indonesian Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Investment and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Vice Minister of Trade, Jerry Sambuaga. 

The President along with Minister of Trade stopped by at Privy’s booth to sign the Certificate of Appreciation to PT Privy Identitas Digital as the authentic Digital Signature provider from Indonesia. As the Digital Signature Partner, 13 documents were signed using Privy including collaborations with South Korea, Vietnam, and Australia with a total transaction value of more than IDR 1.5 trillion. 

Our CEO, Marshall Pribadi, also gave opening remarks on the launch of Indonesia’s Export Expert Platform “The First Export Platform in Indonesia”.  There was a food & beverage section, game, and other activations for the visitor in Privy’s booth. The four-day event was concluded with 41.488 visitors from 140 countries with a total transaction of USD 22,73 billion. Privy also received an award as one of the Best Booth Category more than 100 m2. 


Privy at Huawei’s “Empowering Fintech with Cloud” event (October 15) 

We participated in Huawei Cloud Seminar held by Huawei that was attended by James Zhang as the CEO of Huawei Cloud in Indonesia, Satrio Nugroho as the Deputy Director of Financial Sector Technological Innovation, Digital Finance Asset and Crypto Asset Supervision OJK, and Rizkie Sulistio as VP of Solution Architect at Privy.  

This event serves as a forum for discussion and collaboration between fintech companies, technology industry practitioners, and regulators to explore how fintech companies can address varied industry challenges in the digital age, improve operations, and enhance regulatory compliance to drive growth and digital transformations in the financial sector. 


Our CEO represents Privy at Oktane 2024 (October 16)

 

Founder and CEO of Privy, Marshall Pribadi attends Oktane 2024 as one of the panelists in the breakout sessions with the topic on the lifecycle of verifiable credentials in the age of digital, global identity, at Caesars Forum, Las Vegas, NV. Oktane is the biggest annual conference on Identity held by Okta to draw top industry leaders and experts from around the globe to connect and discover new products and innovations. 

With this opportunity, our CEO highlighted how Privy is dedicated to simplifying and securing life for everyone in the digital ecosystem with trusted digital IDs, legally binding digital signatures, and electronic registered delivery services.  


Privy offers certified Electronic Signatures for BPR/BPRS at Perbarindo National Working Meeting (October 18 to 19) 

Privy participated in the National Seminar and National Working Meeting of Perbarindo with the theme of resilience of people’s economic banks as a pillar of MSME development amid regulatory turmoil at The ZHM Premiere, Padang, West Sumatra. This event is an annual activity held by Perbarindo to discuss the development of Rural Bank (BPR/BPRS) industry, policies, challenges, and related solutions. 

To effectively implement digitalization in Rural Bank (BPR/BPRS), one key step is to establish partnerships with technology providers like Privy, ensuring the integration of certified electronic signatures within the BPR/BPRS ecosystem. 


Privy’s 8th Anniversary 

Just when you think the event for October is over, it’s not. We celebrated our 8th anniversary with the theme #MakeItPersonal to highlight each of our contribution in developing innovations and committing to maintain public trust in the digital landscape to personal level.
