Today I have a nice short one for you. We are going to be taking a brief look at Odoo On The Road, and the great big adventure road trip across the United States promoting Odoo Roadshows. The perfect opportunity for any US Odooers to get stuck in and meet them along the way.

With Odoo growing further in the US, it makes perfect sense for a road trip. As many of you know, the Odoo Buffalo, NY office opening during the pandemic, posed a lot of challenges but benefited from the rewards on a journey in such peculiar times.

If you are a regular reader and community member of Drinking The Purple Juice (DTPJ), then welcome back. With thousands of you tuning in each week, we are growing a fantastic Odoo community. Odoo On The Road - US Roadtrip

As today's thumbnail indicates, Odoo will be embarking on a huge themed Roadshow over the next 10 months. Taking place across North America, all Odooers in the Western Hemisphere will be on the lookout as the RV visits more than 150 different cities in the United States and Canada. 

The aim will be to encourage Odoo Roadshows, bringing them to you and, of course, adding a slight touch of business management software along the way. Now, that's what you call an adventure.

So, what can you expect from Odoo On The Road?

Exploring

Exploring US Cities: As Odoo starts touring, each city will bring its own bespoke flair to the journey. From big cities to small-town charm, it is also going to be a journey away from the Roadshows. For someone like me based in the UK - it also gives us Odooers greater insight across the US market, and as techies, we could not ask for more.

The Daily View

The Odoo Life On The Road: As I hinted there, this is a road trip. As many of you Trailblazers know, living out of an RV is an adventure alone. Odoo will be sharing the journey, from the places they visit to the people they meet. You can expect stories, photos and, even if you are lucky, some behind-the-scenes insights into the life of Odoo.

How to Get Involved?

As Odoo has planned ahead in this regard, it's a fantastic chance to experience Odoo's solutions and see how they can fit into your business. Plus, it's always nice to see friendly Odoo faces. You can find all the upcoming destinations on Odoo Events below.

Share your experiences, and thoughts and even grab a photo with the Odoo RV to contribute to the journey and, of course, the very dedicated Odoo team.

In conclusion - this is a great opportunity for many across the US who have either not experienced an Odoo Roadshow/event before or can't get to one. It is not only going to be brilliant for brand awareness across the US region but also for educational purposes, resulting in the perfect blend and road trip and business.

Why Are Odoo Roadshows Important?

It is a fantastic question that I get asked more than you think. Roadshows are an important element in the Odoo culture. Not only do they allow you to see Odoo in the flesh regarding features, insights and processes in the platform, but they also allow you to meet the wider Odoo community.

As Odoo say...

"Why hit the road when we could just send emails?"

Well, granted, that could be the case but Odoo has always been about the super 'personal' factor. It is an opportunity to take a step out of your day-to-day business operations and engage directly within the community. Odoo class Roadshows as 'mini-celebrations' where Odooers can learn in an inspiring and fun environment.
