Often Imitated. Never Duplicated.

Often Imitated. Never Duplicated.

Stage 1

We all want to accomplish more in less time, but the question is, how can we innovate on what has always been done before? Is there really a way to make anything better? And, is what I am doing, copying someone else and being a parrot? Individuality is important. I think we can all agree. Coke and Pepsi, as a prime example.

I firmly believe that there where you begin to be original, is by putting the quality in the detail. To do that, you need an understanding of what you're doing. You should have the tools and capabilities under your belt before you show up to the arena and get stomped on. That doesn't feel good, does it? With the right tools, you can build a standard approach, putting time and effort into building something of quality, rather than something that will embarrass you. No matter what that work product is. From presentations to a hard item, this is where you should try to distinguish yourself.

When your sole purpose is to make or do the same of something, over and over again, you create an efficiency in the practice of putting that one thing together the same way. Faster and faster each time. One becomes a hundred and a thousand and over the years, tens of thousands. Until, like the back of your hand, there is just a congruence in the world that makes you a "master" of your craft. You can build that "whatever it is" in your sleep. Buildings. Walls. Pottery. Paintings. Apply universally. That is hard to copy or imitate.

At the same time, if you dare to be original, be ready to be copied. I can show you a million entrepreneurs who saw something really awesome, sold the barn to try to make it the same but wind up penniless. That is because they are more focused outside of their wheel house and not solving issues within their capability range, or as they say "staying in your lane".

Success is never found in trying to be someone you're not. Be original. Lead, don't be led. The partner who I have the pleasure to build this enclosure for understands just that. They understand that to be different, you have to think different and not get analysis paralysis. As an industry leader, we at Space Age choose to have a vision and innovate, rather than doing what has been done before. It feels good to know that we are showing an entire industry, a new way of thinking and business approach that can easily change how much work they win or lose by removing costs and improving the speed of the install by building the standards. Helping our partners accomplish more in less time.

Mastering the craft daily. Building and innovating. Often imitated, never duplicated.
