Gen Z Online:
We all know that Gen Z spends a lot of time online, and for a lot of businesses it's their main target audience for their marketing efforts.
But where do they spend their time, and how do we reach them?
According to a report from Morning Consult, YouTube is the most-used platform for Gen Z — with over 80% spending their time on the app. At number 2 we have (of course) Instagram, with 75% spending time on the app.

Exciting new features from Instagram:
Meta has recently announced that it's going to be expanding it's access to the creator marketplace tool.
It will give businesses more capacity to search for creators to work with on Instagram marketing campaigns (and bonus points for it being a SUPER simple and easy website to use).
aaand what would a new feature be without AI, right?
This new feature will use AI to recommend certain creators for your brand, so you don't even have to spend hours trudging through creators - just pop in your profile and BOOM, a list of good matches will appear.

It's currently being rolled out worldwide, but if you're in the following locations, you'll be able to access this now via your meta business manager: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Japan, India, Brazil.
Instagram Reels - How to gain traction:
The dreaded Instagram Reels.
I get it, it can feel like an endless cycle of making content that doesn't perform well.
I can still hear the screams from the 200 view jail 👮
Well, it looks like Instagram Reels are here to stay in 2024 (for now). If you're experiencing low Reel views, consider switching it up a little bit:
Remember: The ultimate goal with Reels (and any short-form video) is to keep the user engaged for as long as possible.
Try not to overthink it - there is no formula for success and as I say all the time - TEST TEST TEST 📣

I got hugely inspired to create this after holding a content day filming all my secret tips and tricks for TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest - we're currently editing the content down but when it's launched you'll be able to check it out here.
