OK is the enemy of great

I had a talk with a very good fellow of mine the last few days. He told me that his goals in life are harmony, happiness and love. So he broke up with his job and relationship. This is a good plan to realize dreams and start following goals. To go forward, you sometimes need to leave things, people or a specific field behind that is blocking you. But what comes after that?

Some of us, who did this step, as of breaking out of the state and situation we are in, started facing some interesting experiences. There is a moment that occurs when you cut out almost everything that is known to you and when you defeat your fear. This one moment when there is nothing left. If we reach this feeling we are completely free to discover new things, things we have no idea what they mean to us. A completely open mind to everything coming our way.

But during this period we will either still remain with the environment or the same people we used to have around us. And the new life is just building up. During this time, we are feeling lonely and are starting to think that it might not have been a good idea. But we following our dream. That is why we made the decision. Now you have two possiblitites to choose from.

Going forward, or looking for an alternative how you can replace the old things. And sometimes the alternative is not as good as something you had before. But this is ok because the alternative just serves the purpose to you avoiding the lonely feel on your way.  But there is the trap. We often choose one thing as a replacement that it is just "ok". But this situation is blocking you more than before. So, watch out and carefully think about how you are going forth while changing your life. Always keep an eye on yourself to never saddle with just an “ok”-alternative, solely to have a piece of your old life back.
