OLD BRIDGE OF MINNOCH

OLD BRIDGE OF MINNOCH

The old Bridge of Minnoch in Glen Trool, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland is a beautiful old arched bridge in a remote part of the Galloway Forest Park. The bridge is marked by a small sign “Roman Bridge” but is certainly not Roman but was a 17th/18th century pack horse bridge.

I set up my camera on my tripod and captured a number of long exposures which smoothed out the water and added a mystical atmosphere to the images.
