There is one exception to the rule......the opening of your website pages!

We all know the old tale of the tortoise and the hare, but the one place this old adage doesn't work is the opening of your website!

After spending marketing pounds and effort on chasing your target audience, the last thing you want is a 'slow open' of your website when they come to validate your business...speed is the essence!

If your website is slow to open i.e. it isnt up in 1 - 3 seconds there a few things that might be wrong:

• your images or videos may not be optimised properly for the site
• there may be coding issues: untidy code, over use of Flash , javascript issues etc
• caching of the site might be an issue
• your hosting server maybe slow and not responding quickly enough to requests

Either way this isn't a good look for your site visitors in this 'time sensitive' era we currently exist in. Go talk to your developer and or your hosting partner to resolve matters.
