One-hand clapping

Well, I guess this is as fitting a metaphor for entrepreneurship as any other. You know, as in, "that's like the sound of one hand clapping."

I suppose this article will lose all validity if I reveal to you that I can actually make a pathetic sound with one hand clapping. (I'm too embarrassed to tell you how many years it took me to develop this skill.)

So, entrepreneurship in 2020. One-hand clapping.

hear you.

(Ok, so it's about you now.)

You need a thought partner.

Thought partnership.

team to support your pivot.

(No?)

We’ve been listening. The whole team. A lot of listening.

We heard you say “thought partner,” and “thought partnership.”

We looked that up in the dictionary. It didn’t tell us much. So we made something up.

Then we started vociferously working with our highest-tier clients as their thought partners.

But then we realized that we were neglecting our friends, and those who might really need this type of idea partnership. And we honestly want to give our highest value to you, too.

My business partner Randy and I squeezed our ideas, jumped on them a bunch, and then wrapped them up with a big red holiday bow, and we had our new COO, Jessica, stand on top of the gift box. (Sorry, I let that get away from me...)

Long story short, here’s the link to a webinar masterclass with all of our most important ideas: www.thoughtleader.app/tlp-webinar — we think this is the best webinar masterclass that has ever, in the history of the world, ever been recorded. (Seriously.)

(Now I have to explain the strikethroughs above. Well, apparently people don't like webinars. In fact, I don't like webinars. So, we're thinking about calling it a masterclass. But that sounds pompous, so we're not sure about that either.)

Here’s the most important thing — think of Randy and me as a quirky professor and a business geek, and we think the biggest value will be the 7 steps we rush through before giving you that crazy offer at the end.

Nothing to lose.

Everything to gain.

The entire universe hangs in the balance.

You’re our last chance.

Well said. Break it up into smaller daily chunks and call it a challenge. They are working really well these days.
