Oracle Extends Cloud-based Warehouse Management and Logistics Performance Capabilities

Oracle recently announced the latest improvements to its extended Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) Cloud application. This latest quarterly release is noteworthy because functionality enhancements are accelerated from the previous Oracle solution roadmap.

The Oracle WMS Cloud is actually the product of Oracle’s previous acquisition of Cloud-based WMS applications technology provider Logfire announced in September of 2016. With each passing quarter, Logfire’s developers have been able to accelerate efforts for broader integration with other Oracle Cloud supply chain management focused applications, provide added extensibility with the addition of REST open standard API’s, and augment global customer use with the addition of support for 13 added languages.

All of these new enhancement features are highlighted in a published Supply Chain Matters blog commentary.
