OTK Newsletter Issue #9- November 2024

🎃 October was a packed month full of side-quests, collaborations, and successes. Halloween brought an OTK x OTV crossover, OTK’s Top Streamer Presented by Progressive crowned a champion, and we’re officially four years old (as an organization).

• 🎬 We partnered with Crunchyroll by hosting an exclusive silver screening for the Re:ZERO Season 3 premiere.
• 👻 Emiru orchestrated an unforgettable haunted house experience.
• 🏈 Football season is back and with it, Esfand’s Tailgate Tour. 
• 🍄 Mad Mushroom released Claws & Chaos with Atomic Picnic launching on November 7th.
• 🚀 Starforge releases two polar opposite but equally stunning custom PC cases, one tailored for the professional and one fit for a king.

👗Emiru's $50,000 Cosplay Competition showcased extraordinary talent within the cosplay community with some of the most insanely detailed cosplays we have ever seen. The level of craftsmanship showcased during this competition was stunning and gave a platform to creative community members. The caliber of entries surpassed expectations, setting a new standard for creative excellence in the space.

Back in April, we teamed up with Progressive Insurance for our wildest streamer showdown ever. What started as hundreds of streamers duking it out turned into an edge-of-your-seat finale with eight absolute legends in the making.

As you could expect, the finale was five days of pure chaos. Here's how it all went down:

• 🏠 Day 1: We kicked things off with opening ceremonies and a host of simple challenges to which they fumbled, stumbled, and sometimes actually impressed us with their skills! The night ended with the reveal of the Progressive OTK’s Top Streamer house where contestants would be living for the next five days.
• 🎮 Day 2: Things got HEATED in our gaming gauntlet (Trash Talk style), where egos were bruised.
• 🏋️ Day 3: Ironforge Gym Day turned our keyboard warriors into actual warriors... well, sort of.
• 🏃♂️ Day 4: We threw our contestants into team challenges that tested both their patience and their parkour skills!
• 🧑💼 Day 5: Our finalists channeled their inner CEOs and tried to convince OTK members why they should pack their bags!

In the end, our Norwegian champion Arrav snagged a cool $50K and the coveted title of OTK's Top Streamer!

🏆 Our premiere sporting event, Game Day, returns for Season 3 on Nov. 8th on Nmplol’s Twitch.

⚽ Kicking off Season 3 will be Soccer on November 8th on Nmplol's Twitch. The month-long event will feature Soccer, Football, Kickball, and Basketball with teams switching up for each day of competition. Rivalries will rise, athleticism will be tested, and new champions will be crowned.
