At the end of September, we celebrated Technicolor Creative Studios becoming an independent company with the launch of the Our Legacy is Our Future YouTube Series.

The series explores our rich legacy in Visual Effects, and the future of creative visual arts, with a new episode of the series released weekly on YouTube, each focusing on a different Technicolor studio and industry sector.

To celebrate International Animation Day, we released Part 4 of the series, with the spotlight turning onto Mikros Animation!

You can expect to hear from VFX & Compositing Supervisors, Production Directors and Heads of Creative, as well as the President of Mikros Animation, Andrea Miloro. From The Little Prince to The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, our interviewees walk you through some of our favorite projects from over the years.

This month, our studio graced the cover of Animation Magazine by way of Ozi, Voice of the Forest. The cover is paired with an exclusive profile on our studio, “Spotlight on Mikros Animation: A Boutique Culture Embraces Growth” which dives deep into our studio’s legacy and future as well as shares exclusive details on upcoming projects like Ozi, Voice of the Forest and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

At Mikros Animation, we’ve worked with iconic animated characters who are loved around the world and beyond the screen. Montreal Summer Party

It’s officially autumn, but we’re fondly looking back at warmer days in Montreal. Our Canadian office celebrated summer with an old fashioned BBQ. More than 400 participants enjoyed live music, tasted cocktails, and ate delicious food.
