To Our Partners and Friends: Thank you for inspiring us through the year

We’re almost at the end of 2020, and what a year it’s been.

The year has forced many entrepreneurs to acknowledge that they operate in a global environment and transform the way they operate. As a company with many close partners based out of China, we were among the first to understand the huge impact the pandemic has on businesses.

We adapted to this change well during the COVID-19 pandemic and reflect on what will work for our startups and how to be part of a much bigger transformation happening in the world; digital, economical and geopolitical.

Thousands of startups and SMEs were thrown into adaptation mode; some went straight into ICU and never recovers. Many of our friends lost their jobs and companies. This year, success is not about getting through ourselves but also how we could help relieve others as well.

We were able to help several startups and entrepreneurs find purpose and directions in life and businesses. We hope many will blossom and be around to serve the community in the years to come.

This year has also highlighted the resiliency and creativity of many entrepreneurs. I have the opportunity to witness how YOOP+ adopted a lean startup approach and identify a problem worth solving with enough room to grow in the future. Others like SmartAnt have seen the team grow from a team of 4 to almost a team of 20 persons during the pandemic. I am excited about the dynamics of the team and how they will grow to capture the market.

They serve as an inspiration to us and energizes us to keep serving the startup ecosystem.

Going into 2021, we have set up to continue to guide and help startups get off the ground and grow. 2020 was a foundation-building year for us, and we’ve been setting up our team to provide you with more value than ever before in 2021 and beyond.

I can’t thank you enough for being with us this year. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can do together in 2021!
