There’s a Global Mental Health Pandemic..

.. It’s growing and there are no signs that it's slowing down.


Studies Show that

  • 74% Experience high stress
  • 1/10 people have a Burn-out
  • 75% has at least 1 factor of Burn-out
  • 28% suffers from anxiety
  • 1/10 is depressed
  • 1/10 has ADHD
  • 1/8 are struggling with Addiction

This results in

  • 37% Higher absenteeism
  • 34% Cost of salary per employee
  • With a total cost of $190 Billion worldwide


And these numbers are the reported ones. The real numbers are much and much higher and chances are, you or some of your loved ones are suffering under one or more of these issues.

I myself for one know the signs of burn-out, had multiple depressive episodes in life, unsolved childhood traumas and can be classified as a High-Performing Addict. Yes that’s a term that exists. Actually it’s quite ‘normal’ that high performers have an addictive mindset.

For me Performing at a high level consisted of ‘never enough’, more sales, bigger deals, better, stronger, faster. Life in the fast lane. Addicted to the money, the status, the pressure and I loved it.

To cope with all this and to switch off my mind after a 12-14 hour work day I used to love to drink a bottle of red. Could go days without sleep and was still performing much better than the people around me. It cost me in the end and I decided to go into a 2 month rehab in South Africa to once and for all solve these problems.


This was the best present I ever gave myself. I finally got back my ‘why?’ and got back to being authentic.


There I discovered the reason I was performing at such a high level. I had what they call an Extreme High Standard Schema. The hard working perfectionist schema. Something I created to cover up my childhood traumas of violence due to alcoholism when I grew up.


I also discovered the wonder on what happens when you are taken out of your environment to fully work on yourself. 8 weeks of working on ME without distractions. Schema therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Systems therapy and group sessions with most of them being high-performing professionals and 6 psychologists dedicated to work through problems. I was torn apart and sown back together a couple of times a day there. I experienced ups and downs. Smiles and cries on a day to day basis, for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, 8 weeks straight. And yet It was the best experience I have ever had and would recommend it to anyone. It wasn’t easy. But good things are never easy. And easy things are rarely good.


I came to thinking: If Mental Health issues are so prevalent why are we not pre-testing this at the ‘The Workplace’? Where we spent over 40% of our time. And a lot of high-performers much more.


So about 3 years ago and with the investigative mindset I have I started researching how we can test Mental Health and Performance on a massive scale. And with being in Corporate Tech Sales for the last 15 Years I knew we should create a Software and Platform that would in the end serve those same Corporates I sold to in the past.


I started my research and contacted top Universities and had dialogues with dozens of psychologists, other Business Coaches and Mentors and experts in the field of Behavioural Therapy, Burn-out, Depression, Work related stress and Addictions. I became intrigued and obsessive about this. Because I still thrive on that.


I have worked through the Schema Research of Young, Maslach's burnout research. Looked at ADHD and stress tests and I personally interviewed 51 high-performing individuals on how they deal with different issues. The answer most of the time. They don’t and cover it up.


Brain Health Analytics
What resulted 3 years later is the Platform we created with Corporate Brain Analytics and Brain Health Analytics. Testing via software and improving performance with our Analytics and Coaching platform. We currently have a global reach of over 1900 coaches and psychologist in our network. We measure data over 800 data points. See where the ‘blind-spots’ are. Coach and train to base-line and then coach further into over-performance.


We found out that executives from mid-level, to senior-level and C-level would make use of a coach if they had the chance to. And with the data we collect with the software it becomes much easier.

No one is able to mirror his or herself and a blind-spot is a blind spot because we are unable to see it. Remember that all high-performers in Sport have a coach. So why wouldn’t people in Business have one?

And now extrapolate this knowledge on the life of neurodivergent people, trying to fit into the criteria of "normal employee". This is actually the reason they are experiencing burnouts so often and heavy ( It could be made so much easier for neurodivergent people to live in the modern world if they didn't need to "fit in"...
