Our True Value

In a world of consumerism and excess, we are always compelled to buy, spend and fill ourselves with emptiness. What I have realized is that I have tried everything to replace my true value as I have given it away so freely without even understanding what it was. 

We have been groomed and raised by society and cultures to use the fiscal currency to continuously leave us empty and that we have no intrinsic value unless we are creating one. 

Our True Value is our core energy, essence, that we have learned over time to ignore and replace with people, things, and outside validations. We are created perfectly and brought here to complete our soul's purpose, while that is a real journey, if we never look we never find it. It is time to acknowledge that we are more than human beings, we are full of a complex mixture of Mind, Body, and Soul

When we are born we have all the energy, essence, we will ever need to build, thrive, and truly be whole in this world. But, as we grow we are taught so many different things about how we value ourselves and lose touch with our own God given value, equity, personal commodity, and the truth. The deeper our connection is with self, the closer we get to seeing our value beyond physical terms, the happier we become. 

We trap ourselves in falsehoods and outside beliefs, rather than trust our intuition and internal compass. For me, it presented in many, many self-toxic ways of avoidance and addictions, as they kept me from being, dealing with or feeling my truest self. 

Whether it was: codependence, drugs, alcohol, sex, porn, attachments of any kind, fiscal currency, the chase, the games, gambling, sports, food, even being the underachiever. They were all ways of devaluing myself so I didn't have to see my true value, it was ways of blocking myself to my core to hide who and what I am. 

The minute we find self and see past the physical, we feel the true responsibility to ourselves to become more than what we are and ever have been. It is a true burden if we don't have ways to understand, community to grow in or guides, it is an extremely lost feeling. 

Our energy is the only true currency we possess during our lives and have been misled all along. We are taught that happiness, things, people, accumulation of wealth and success will complete us. When in reality we are born complete and live straying further and further away from it. 

The harsh reality is that power, greed, control and other like-minded mindsets are the complete deterioration of society and always have been. In the end it will lead to humanity cannibalizing ourselves. 

We are taught that entertainment, distractions, and avoidance away from self will lead to happiness and fulfillment when all they do is take us away from our core energy. 

Society needs to bring uncomfortable topics to the surface, give everyone inclusion and equity at the table and have tough, vulnerable conversations to address the fabric of mankind. 

For me throughout my life I have used the following as ways to give energy without the return of any to deplete myself and feel worse in the end:

Sex with people for the act, not to share the magical exchange of love and energy. 

Drugs and alcohol to numb and avoid self. 

Gambling to entertain and distract me from everything I didn't want to think about. 

Controlling of outcomes to protect myself from being at risk and in fear. 

Porn to feel empty pleasure while also never receiving anything in return. 

Having to be busy or in groups to avoid feeling alone, instead of seeking ways to grow my relationship with self. 

Empty conversations to fill time rather than be in a space of self-comfort. 

Judgement of others rather than self-reflection to see what are my core issues. 

Hiding behind the concept of living free, rather than identifying my core values and living within them. 

Choosing one-sided situations to feel needed, rather than becoming whole and being wanted.

Settling for instant gratification rather than believing in ourselves and being patient with what the universe has in store for us as we evolve further. 

And so many more…….

With our true value being our energy, essence, that means once we take the leap and walk away from fiat currencies we will live in true alignment with ourselves. Our value to society will be based on what we contribute and it will give everyone a chance to have equity and inclusion, society can be based on reciprocity rather than the accumulation of wealth and things. 

Now as far-fetched as this might seem, 20 years ago wouldn't it have been far-fetched to think that the world is so divided on extreme issues that hate & fear rule our lives?
