FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP GUARANTEE
I engineered this guarantee to demonstrate the value proposition and differentiate my workshop from all the other educational programs, webinars, and pitches on helping people raise funding.
Motivated Money Method to Raising Funding
January 16, 2025 – 11 am to 3 pm Eastern Time – Online Workshop
Standard Price - $500, Discounted Price to Qualified Individuals - $400
I guarantee that the value of your time saved by attending this workshop will exceed the combined cost of your time and the price of the workshop. Applying the strategies taught will significantly reduce the time spent identifying and pitching to investor candidates who are unlikely to invest.
If you do not save at least 12 hours of your time due to the skills and insights gained during the workshop, I will refund the full price you paid.
The Value Formula
The value of attending my workshop can be calculated using this simple formula:
Price of Workshop + (Market Rate for Your Time × 4 hours) ÷ Market Rate for Your Time = Break-Even Hours
For example, if your time is valued at $52.66/hour (the average rate for a U.S. small business CEO, according to ZipRecruiter), the workshop requires you to save just 11.6 hours to break even at the discounted $400 price.
Real-Life Impact
Imagine the time wasted on initial calls or meetings with investors who are unlikely to say “yes.” A single unproductive meeting can last 1–2 hours. If you avoid just 6–12 unproductive pitches after attending this workshop, you’ll already see a positive return on your investment.
What You Gain
In addition to saving time, you’ll learn:
No-Risk Participation
If you attend the workshop and do not achieve the promised time savings, let me know—and I will refund your investment in full. This is my commitment to ensuring your success and satisfaction.

ASK CAP
CAP, my artificial intelligence (AI) avatar, is available on my website 24/7/365 to answer your questions for free about funding.
I developed CAP with a license from Knowledge Avatars to answer frequent questions about funding and save myself time to answer the more complex questions.
I am using CAP as a digital receptionist and as a continuous FAQ. Yesterday, I recommended a manufacturer use an AI avatar as their online, interactive installation, user manual, maintenance & repair information source. If you would like an AI avatar to assist you in running your business or organization, reach out to @Emiliano De Laurentiis at Knowledge Avatars and discuss how reasonable the pricing is for this valuable tool. emiliano@knowledgeavatars.ai
I asked CAP,
“How may a small business make itself visible to investor candidates?”
CAP responded:
Recommended by LinkedIn
“A small business can increase visibility to potential investors by developing a strong business plan, building a professional online presence, participating in networking events and industry conferences, and seeking opportunities for media coverage.
Additionally, using online platforms for crowdfunding and reaching out through investor networks or affiliations with incubators can be effective.
Demonstrating traction, financial health, and a clear path to growth will also attract investor interest.”
FUNDING POINT – OVERCOMING FUNDING CHALLENGES – VISIBILITY
If an investor candidate does not know you exist, they cannot invest. How many of the 7 billion people on the planet know of your business, community, or project?
Visibility is achieved through many different mediums:
· In person
· Public media
· Social media
· Mailing
· Interview
· Advertising
· Referrals
When visibility is achieved, every effort should be made to distract the audience from whatever they are doing by offering them something compelling in which they have an existing, high interest. Gaining visibility without follow-on action that leads to funding wastes resources. This means that stunts or other events limited to gaining visibility may harm the need to build credibility with the investor candidates. Not all press is good press.
Visibility takes time. A single appearance or presentation of a business may not stick in the minds of an investor candidate. Visibility does not have an instant fix.
This chart, included in a presentation by Jason Fishman with the Digital Niche Agency, shows that visibility will require multiple appearances beyond first contact until a sale is made. Multiple appearances cannot be completed in a single day. The multiple appearances requirement must be multiplied by the number of needed investors when planning for a business or project.
A continuous capital strategy should be implemented that always builds relationships with prospective investors. Over the life of a business, a capital strategy may require an initial campaign just to get started, a second campaign within six months to three years to enable growth, and additional campaigns as necessary for the acquisition of equipment, facilities, personnel, intellectual property, or other assets.
Appearances achieving visibility may come in three levels:
· Direct, one-to-one communications – meetings, phone calls, emails
· Direct, one-to-many communications – email blasts, newsletter, webinar
· Indirect, one-to-many communications – press releases, Internet advertising, interviews, books
A business that needs capital funding will need to achieve a certain level of celebrity over time for itself and one or more of its leadership teams.
Keep in mind that different investor candidates get their information differently. To achieve visibility, it is necessary to see where investor candidates are looking. This underscores the need to identify those investor candidates who are ‘most motivated’ to invest in your capital campaign within the development of a capital strategy and campaign design to narrow the scope of visibility activities and the associated costs.
RESOURCES TO IMPROVE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY VISIBILITY
In classical entrepreneur fashion, it is possible to ‘do it yourself’ by acting as your public relations person. Like any activity, an entrepreneur must objectively judge their capability of performing this position and the amount of time required. At some point, higher quality and saved time will dictate engaging individuals or businesses and purchasing subscriptions to carry out part or all visibility activities. This may reach a level where engaging in a public relationship business may be the best choice to place all activities under one roof with complete coordination.
I have identified a number of types of gaining visibility below, each with the name of a product or business that may provide advice, offer a tool, or manage the activity for you. Many other people and businesses offer the same or similar help and services. An entrepreneur should study each offering to determine if it is a good fit based on their skills, budget, and time.
Website – A do-it-yourself website can be achieved using Wild Apricot, GoDaddy, Square, Wix, and other subscription services. Many businesses offer custom website development services. However, engaging such a service must ensure 24/7 access and a long-term relationship so a business doesn’t need to worry about starting over with a new service provider in the middle of the night.
Emails – Individual emails may be completed using a service from the website, Google, Microsoft Outlook, or other providers. Eblast emails may require dedicated services like MailChimp. Auto-responders are included in many customer relationship management (CRM) subscriptions like Folk, Monday, or Zoho.
Interviews – Podcast Guest offers a matching service for individuals to be interviewed by podcasters/influencers.
LinkedIn – Don Cohen is an expert on using LinkedIn with a specialization in live streaming.
Advertising – Jason Fishman with Digital Niche Agency specializes in online ad placement and qualification of mail list purchasing
Book – A do-it-yourself service is Designrr. Ford Saeks with Prime Concepts Group offers a service to aid individuals in publishing books line.
Polls and Surveys – Social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, offer the ability to conduct polls. SurveyMonkey is a subscription service that enables linking a survey to an email, website or other appearance.
Press Releases - PR Newswire distributes press releases to different publications within different regions.
SUCCESSFUL FUNDING SHOW
NEXT TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24, NEW YEARS EVE, at 8 am Mountain Time / 10 am Eastern Time, the Successful Funding show will celebrate the holidays with Eric Hanson and the topic of Contrarian Funding. You have heard the experts, read the books, crafted the carefully choreographed pitches, and still failed to raise funding. Why not? Are you doing anything wrong when you are doing what everyone tells you to do? What if they are wrong? Join us to discuss this question.
You may participate in the audience or watch the recording on LinkedIn at:
LAST TUESDAY, Rick Janson was my guest on the Successful Funding show. We discussed funding of AI businesses. Rick has launched two AI businesses where he has developed prototypes, and he is moving through the development process towards commercially ready products. The discussion included a number of the common challenges for any new business based on technical innovation. We then explored actions Rick is taking or may consider to make himself stand out from all of the other AI businesses by leveraging his knowledge and reputation within the real estate industry to build credibility and working to find those investor candidates who are most motivated to invest now when Rick’s companies are pre-MVP (most viable product) and pre-revenue. This discussion pointed to investor candidates who had already decided to use avatars in their businesses but recognized that Rick’s AI could shortcut access to a viable product/service without their longer runway to such an outcome through their own research and development efforts.
