Overcoming Uncertainty in Daily Lives

Why there is so much uncertainty in our lives?

Over the years I have experienced and I am sure most people experience uncertainty or overwhelmedness in their daily lives. Corrective actions if not taken on time, may affect our efficiency and lead us to the loss of productivity. There are many reasons behind this peculiar feeling which leads us to uneasiness and we cannot make decisions.

The following steps can help us to overcome this :

  • Plan in advance :

The prime reason that I observe is our unplanned approach toward our daily chores both at home and at work. Being systematic and proactive, we can eliminate the unnecessary hustle we go through to make ends meet. If we plan well in advance and take the necessary steps systematically, we can enhance our productivity and efficiency throughout the day.

  • Meditate :

It has been observed that people who meditate for 10 minutes with their eyes closed experience a feeling of blankness in their minds which can help to clear the clutter or distractions and help us to focus and think clearly. Short naps also help reboot our brains similarly.

  • Exercise :

To stimulate our brains and release the necessary happy hormones we should exercise at least 30 mins every day. Yoga/walking/swimming/running/cycling or any other cardiovascular activity should be practiced.

  • Sleep :

To function at optimum levels our body needs at least 7 to 8 hours of sound sleep every night. By following a proper time cycle for sleeping and waking up daily, we can train our body to relax properly with an adequate amount of rest vital for the proper functioning of our body.

  • Live in the present

We often think too much about our future and in this process, we forget to live the present moment. This leads us to a feeling of misery and dissatisfaction. We must plan short goals and move one step at a time. Taking short steps will enhance overall productivity and generate a sense of contentment and happiness.

In conclusion, uncertainty and overwhelmedness are common in our daily lives. However, by taking proactive steps, such as planning in advance, meditating, exercising, getting enough sleep, and living in the present, we can overcome these feelings and enhance our productivity and efficiency.
