Pandemic has given us a chance to keep following up the well being of our near and dear.

It was one of the calls I made a cousin in Vijayawada. we were sharing the spread of infection and our known ones who got affected and coming out of scare from hospitals after treatment. we have also exchanged on sudden demises due to age and other related health issues.

during such interaction had come to know that people who prided themselves as elite, cosmopolitan, and detested visiting native village even in family demise has run into hiding aged above 85 for fear of life.

These people who lived all their lives in the metropolis and even across continents could not accept the risk and urbane safety which they were under the delusion ran into hiding into a village Kolavennu distancing themselves from the human interface.

All the pride, ego washed away with no children of their own to take care with little emotion and embrace from others as they had always brushed others and belittled and even broken their families have been hiding from humanity for wanting to have eternal life.

The Paranoia of life has levelled all egocentric human race that for disasters, health risks, wars there is no differentiation, for gods will all are equal whether you are a healer or a propagandist. A great leveller of life to make you hide from humanity for all the social ills and egocentric show-offs at this last leg of life they were made to crawl into hiding. whether such people introspect and learn in this last rung god only knows...
