Pandemic Year -2020 ...

Today, when i look , back, i can't even imagine how, sorrowful this going year passed on!. journey started with an unfortunate event ,where , one of my best friend died, it was the shocking event for us all. Later on, lockdown started on 20th march , 2020, i was in Delhi -NCR, could not go home, there was not movement, everything stopped all of sudden. COVID-19 ,virus speeded in the entire world, the entire world was temporarily closed. My grandmother is 99 years old, she did not even see such illness & virus in her entire generation, i was feeling very suppressed , depressed, lonely , very far from my parents & sibling, Now the new words were in the society ,like quarantine , self isolation, hand sanitizer and so & so forth, even a less educated person became aware , sanitation was on priority , everyone was washing their hand 20-40 times in day, as per the WHO guidelines.

Now corporate office started operating from home , new norms came for employees & employers both,, we all were working hard, to achieve our targets, goals & show the maximum productivity, initial days were very cool & charming, but when the time was going on, it became very cumbersome & hectic, sometime , people were doing extra chores at home & suddenly your cellphone was ringing, you got instant order to join Microsoft teams or zooms meetings, & videos was mandatory !!! imagine how pity the scenario would be! i worked 7 months from home and did not leave any stone untorn to provide best result while, working from home itself, learnt a lot.

My landlord diagnosed with Corona, and that was the moment ,where i decided instantly to go to home and stared my backpacks, i called my mother and said i am coming today at any cost ,coz i am not safe here now, but every states was following very strict lockdown, if anyone was entering from one state to another state, you had to make a pass & followed at least 14 days quarantine at destination, Because the mutation for this pathetic virus was 14 days, where people could develop symptoms if they came into contact of infected person. I am still socked! that, how one can measures by himself/herself , that, they are covid positive or negative, when the seasons changes, people get cold & cough , this is normal, but now in such scenario, it also became danger for everyone.

I reached home on 15 June 2020, but i kept myself into isolation, i did not want to be a culprit, coz my native people were very much afraid from this virus, i was quarantine for 21 days from my family & later on when i went home i was living isolated for another 7 days ,so that if i might be getting infected ,i could go away from my love one , Their safety was also in my hand. Here i would like to emphasize our district administration, the DM of my native place, how beautifully ,he managed the entire district administration to tackle from such enemy called Covid-19. His Team & he, tried his level best to provide better amenities & facilities to the migrated people ,who were coming back to their root. my friend from UP-Bihar stayed in govt. school ,where they faced discrimination, no facility & even too much crowd all together, on the opposite side, my district administration managed to provide me A-1 class facility, 5 stars hotels like services, can't even express my feeling in words, i was speechless , they were taking care us all, as our parents, wanna thankyou. police, aasha-worker, gram pradhan, DM, teachers , doctors and many more , who sacrificed there time for us.

i resumed my office back then on 20th October -2020. after going office ,everything was fine, but there were 10-15 covid cases inside the office premises, i was in trouble, and was working in fear, i was continuously wearing mask, one fine day, i got fever and cough, i took leaves, i stayed 14 more days at my room took leave, i consulted doctor and did a RT-PCR test for Covid .I was cent percent sure that ,i would get covid positive, I was discussing with my parents & friend, but finally my test result came negative & i took a deep breathe on that fine day.

Now life went on, i am going office continuously, many of my known person got infected & later on got recovered from illness, but this covid also taught many lesson to everyone, people are taking care of their health seriously, working on immunity, whole family came together ,came into one roof, ate together, had discussion together, our entire earth, nature , animal, birds, trees, ecosystem rejuvenated, Wow, what a drastic transformation. Every coin has two sides, every situation has merit & demerit.

I want to sum-up this year as not a very good year for me, there were many ups & downs, sorrows & many more, my time wasted somewhere, i have also learnt many things, i tried to make myself more confident, daring, worked on different skill set, this pandemic year -2020 showed us it's n-no. of faces, lives came, lives went on, nothing stop, people lost their love one , my god provides the strength to all of them , May year-2021 come will the flying colors , may everyone life comes into normalcy asap.
