The imbalance between short-term investors and long-term tech providers…
Investors are debating the implications of the AI capex boom. While tech providers aim for long-term gains, short-term returns may lag. For example, Nvidia’s Q2 revenues doubled year-on-year, highlighting significant ongoing AI investment. However, other businesses may have to wait years for these investments to pay off fully.

Emerging Trend: Apocalyptic Leadership 😈
Apocalyptic leadership requires a fresh perspective, shifting towards a more interconnected leadership style. It echoes Einstein’s insight that the solutions to our problems cannot be created with the same thinking that caused them. It’s about fostering a collective awakening guided by compassion, understanding, and respect for diverse life rather than outdated values of exclusion, control, and self-interest.
Apocalyptic leaders operate from a power-with, co-creation approach, moving from what Microsoft termed a ‘know-it-all’ culture to a ‘learn-it-all’ one."
Insight:
It's time for leaders to explore how they can think long-term and take actions that benefit future generations today.
