Ingenuity’s top 20 choices for Brand Partnerships that we cannot believe haven’t happened!

Not to put too fine a point on it, but 2020 has not been the year any of us thought it would be. It’s been tough. Yet, in the face of adversity often comes opportunity and that’s certainly the case when we talk about partnership marketing.

Here at Ingenuity, we have spent hours discussing the market, what the future holds and obviously the types of brand partnerships we would love to see.

Given current challenges, it seems that partner marketing has a real chance to boom. Brands are spending more time working together on collective goals and attempting to reach shared results.

With 2020 turning out to be a year of forced innovation, we’ve come up with some potential partnerships we’d love to see!

1.      Zoom and Costa Coffee – In our blessed new world, we all need something to wake us up to the virtual world!

2.      IKEA & Barratt homes – design your brand-new home

3.      Beyond Meat x Joe Wicks – Joe Wicks to endorse Beyond Meat products, helping to bring them mainstream and be more positively recognised by UK audience

4.      Microsoft XBOX & DFS – Gaming in comfort

5.      Peloton x TALA – Sustainable athleisure for a powerful yet comfortable ride 

6.      UNiDAYS x ASDA – Forming a nationwide student marketing campaign around powering the student nation during a pandemic with a fantastic offer

7.      Huel x Classpass – Keeping you fueled for a fun workout

8.      THIS x Wendy’s (who are set to return to the UK) – offering the perfect plant-based options and to take on McPlant

9.  Patagonia x National Geographic – raising awareness of the environment and why brands like Patagonia fight to protect it

10.  Swell Bottles x Allplants – creating sustainable pots to eat healthy meals on-the-go!

11.  Young Minds x Parkrun – helping encourage children to exercise, get outdoors and the opportunity to meet new people

12.  Wild x Girlfriend collective – Natural deodorant paired with sustainable activewearkeeping you feeling fresh and ready to sweat

13.  Grind x rCup- Compostable coffee pods for a reusable coffee cup made from recycled single-use cups

14.  hims x Durex – ‘hard made easy’ and durex are there for you when you’re ready to go

What partnership should my brand go for in 2021?

2021 is being touted as the year of the partnership! What type of brands and trends are going to be the most desirable next year? Here are my hero pillars.
