DON’T MAKE THIS MISTAKE, YOU’RE BETTER THAN THAT !!

By far one of my biggest asked questions from struggling photographers is how to make more money. Many photographers have a real problem with charging any decent amount for their services and many great photographers never make it because they fail to charge what they should be charging for a professional service.

Unfortunately the trade is now flooded with cut priced photographers, many charging as little as £150 for a wedding. Some are even selling complete portrait shoots with a CD of images for £50, it’s crazy these people will never make any money.

If you want to make photography your profession and make a sustainable income you need to charge a fee that will allow you to do this.

With around 70% of the market taken up with low cost photographers, all these budget photographers are competing against each other on price, selling to clients who are only interested in a bargain or a cut price deal, this is NOT your market.

Move up a few price brackets and yes there may be a smaller amount of clients, but by contrast there is one hell of a lot less competition. Finding these clients can be easy with targeted social media advertising, joint ventures and a little bit marketing help. You can do it and you owe it to yourself to do it NOW.

Look at your pricing today and if you feel you are in the wrong price bracket and you need help then drop me a message for a FREE consultation.

Hope I can help a few more photographers reach their goals and achieve their dreams this Christmas, we all have it in us, and sometimes we just need a little push and direction.

Thanks for following and remember drop me a message if you think this applies to you, Jeff

Solid advice. As hard as it is to price your own worth and the worth of your work you have to do it. I do not want to be that £50 shoot and burn a CD/DVD photographer ever.
