There is only 1 thing that I can promise and to be ready for, that it will take longer and be harder than you ever expected.
The journey to being an overnight success takes many years, decades and is going to be harder than you ever imagined. If your plans says a year, give it 2 or 3. If it is going to cost $500,000 might want to add a few $100K extra.
Why? There are so many variables that come in to play and so many changing scenarios that even the most prepared can't think about. You will have your business plan and you will be optimistic about it, but... BUT, as we all learned in 2020, we don't really control anything except our attitudes.
My advice to my younger self, is have more savings and a longer run way. Plan for more challenges. Hire a coach out the gate. Budget for mentors and build a team that can support you to help collapse the unforeseeable. Always have a long game view and never give up. No matter what never give up.
