THE POLITICS OF CONVENIENCE MUST STOP
I am very disappointed in our Politicians and our so called Journalists.
The propaganda being pursued by these two must be questioned by well meaning Ghanaians.
On Wednesday the 19th of August 2020, I had the opportunity of listening to three gentlemen on the #POINT #OF #VIEW programme on #CITI #TV at 9:00pm prompt.
The host was a gentleman acclaimed to be one the finest journalists in the Country. I even understand he is the best journalist if annual awards are something to be taken seriously.
The other was a PhD. holder and was speaking on behalf of the learned Second Gentleman of the Republic of Ghana. He even claimed that he has so many students under his watch which means he must be a university lecturer.
And last panel member was an orator, a former Minister of Information and an aspiring Member of Parliament.
They all exhibited high intellectual acumen but I also observed that they all seemed to lack WISDOM as prescribed in the HOLY BIBLE and as demonstrated by courtiers.
Why am saying this?
One topic came up concerning Overhead Interchanges within the city of Accra and its environs, the city of Tamale and the harbour city of Takoradi.
All of them were trying very hard to expose their ignorance on the subject like most people do on social media.
Meanwhile the #CONSULTANTS who are in charge of all these projects are in this country.
Please, if anyone is close to #Bernard #Avle, get this message to him.
HE SHOULD and MUST invite the CONSULTANT or the CONSULTANTS on the projects for them to explain to Ghanaians the determining factors informing the cost of these projects.
Please not only #Bernard #Avle, any well meaning journalist would do the good people of Ghana well if the CONSULTANTS of these public projects are made to throw more light on the TECHNICAL and FINANCIAL details of these projects.
Neither the journalist, nor the Spokesman to the VEEP nor the Former Information Minister was able to convince me on veracity of the assertions spewed by Dr. Bawumia is his last lectures to the good people of Ghana.
We need #further #and #better #particulars in the voice of the retired Supreme Court Judge, his Lordship Justice Atubiga.
