We asked, “Which flexible work option would be most beneficial for your team’s success?” Here’s how 137 respondents voted:

  • Fully Remote: 28%
  • Hybrid (Office and Remote): 55%
  • Flexible Hours: 14%
  • No Flexibility: 4%

These results highlight the strong preference for hybrid work, with employees leaning towards a blend of in-office collaboration and the autonomy of remote work. It's clear that balancing flexibility and collaboration is key for modern teams.


Canadian Preferences (2024)

As we look closer to home, Canadian employees have spoken:

  • Hybrid/Remote Work: 62% of Canadian employees prefer hybrid models for balancing productivity and work-life integration.
  • Flexible Hours: 24% prioritize time flexibility over location.
  • In-Office: Only 14% prefer fully on-site roles

These trends reflect how Canadians are shifting towards flexible arrangements that enhance both work-life balance and productivity.


United States Preferences (2024)

Across the border, U.S. employees show similar preferences:

  • Hybrid Work: 60% favor hybrid arrangements, citing increased productivity and well-being.
  • Fully Remote: 30% value the autonomy of working entirely from home.
  • In-Office Only: Roughly 10% prefer traditional office setups for collaboration and resource access

The U.S. data reinforces the shift towards flexibility, with hybrid and remote work dominating employee preferences.


Global Preferences (2024)

On the global stage, workplace flexibility is a higher priority:

  • Hybrid Work: 70% globally favor hybrid work, with 85% of companies in Asia-Pacific promoting this model.
  • Flexible Hours: 71% of employees globally rate time flexibility as crucial, particularly in regions like North America and Europe.
  • In-Office: Preferences for full in-office roles remain below 20% in most countries, highlighting a global shift

The worldwide data further emphasizes a universal movement towards hybrid work and flexible hours, with employees seeking more control over how and when they work.
