Post PhD Acknowledgment

To start with, I would like to express my appreciation to all the attendees who were present during my public PhD defense on 31st of January, 2023 at Eseo . This work was funded by the MSCA ETN PETER project and the degree was provided by INSA Rennes . I truly feel ecstatic that this 3-year journey has finally come to fruition with the defense of my doctoral dissertation.

First and foremost, my most profound appreciation goes to my two supervisors Mohsen Koohestani and Richard Perdriau , for providing me their time, effort, inspiration and motivation to conduct novel research. It is entirely due to them that I have achieved such milestones during my PhD journey. In addition, I extend my gratitude to the assessors of my PhD dissertation Prof. Davy Pissoort and Dr. Alexandre Boyer, who thoroughly reviewed my manuscript and provided constructive feedback improving the quality of the dissertation. Furthermore, I acknowledge the input and favorable comments provided by remaining members of the examination committee - Prof. Bruno Castanier , Prof. Philippe Besnier , Prof. Sonia Delmas Ben Dhia , Dr. André DURIER , and Dr. Mohammed Ramdani .

My warment thanks to my fellow PETER ESR Dr. Lokesh Devaraj from HORIBA MIRA , for his collaboration and support in my PhD work. We were able to successfully combine our expertise in probabilitic models and #EMC IC design, which lead us to publish several journal and conference publications. Additionally, I would like to thank his supervisor Dr. Alastair Ruddle for all the fruitful exchanges and technical discussions we had. I also acknowledge Dr. Tim Claeys and Dr. Hugo Pues , under the supervision of whom I carried out my two secondments at KU Leuven Brugge and at MELEXIS in Belgium, respectively.

My deepest regards goes to the European Commission and the entire Marie Curie MSCA ETN PETER consortium for providing me the opportunity to be a part of this innovative project focusing on a risk-based EMC approach. I wish to thank all my MSCA ETN PETER fellow ESRs Hasan Habib , Oskari Leppäaho , Pejman Memar , Zhao C. , Mumpy Das , Samikshya Ghosalkar , Arash N. , Dr. Arunkumar Hunasanahalli Venkateshaiah , Nancy Omollo , Mohammad Tishehzan , Vasso Gkatsi , Akram Ramezani , and Fernando Arduini for all the memorable times we have spent together in our PETER journey. It was indeed a pleasure to attend social/technical activities as a team. I hope I was able to keep the team united as an ESR representative. My warmest wishes to all ESRs for their respective PhD defenses and future careers. Moreover, I would like to thank my closest friends from bachelor studies at FAST National University, Peshawar Campus , Syed Shariq Bukhari , Saad Zafar Siddiqui , Atif Farooq , and Syed Muhammad Shahrukh for their best wishes and confidence that I was always destined to do a PhD.

I am most thankful to all the help and unconditional support that I have received from my parents and my two younger sisters. Without you all I would not be the person I am today. Finally and most importantly, all of this would not have been possible without the love and emotional support of my dearest wife. I dedicate this thesis and all its related achievements to her.

This PhD has provided me with the intellect to simlate complex models to study EMC of ICs, the commitment to validate them experimentally, and most importantly, the aptitude to become an independent researcher and contribute to ground-breaking research.

Once more congratulations Qazi! Well deserved based on the hard work you've done.
